Setback is not end of story.
I have met some amazing people who have been through major setbacks in their professional and personal lives and have made it through them.
Each of them has taken actions that have helped them power through setbacks. With grit and resilience, they have bounced back like the sprouting tree stump.
Setbacks happen to everyone. But like Stewart Stafford says, “ Every setback is a pitstop en route to nirvana.”
The tree stump teaches us a lesson. Never give up hope. Find a path to progress.
This was a freestyle piece inspired by Mary Chang Story Writer, Six Word Photo Story prompt. The publication is inspiring; it has compelled me to browse my travel album and write photo stories. This picture of the tree stump was captured by me during my trip to Thailand a couple of years back.
