May Madness drove the Skyfleets creativity this month!
With a mind-boggling 77 submissions coming in May, (almost doubling last month) creating this article is becoming a monster task! Yet I still want to pay homage to the talented individuals that keep coming back every single month, and of course, the newcomers that venture into the proving grounds.
Submissions:
This month we ran a competition to help to promote the recently launched CX Labs. 1st and 2nd place went to Marco Casino, 3rd to Fray with their below contributions:
The talented artist @Bumsee painted his brilliant renditions of an “Extra Chromosome,” “Egotistic Chinstrap Penguin,” and “Feckless Raspberry Crazy Ant” for the Skycoin Rewards Levels.
The addition of 3D printing designs to Skycoin Rewards saw an influx of extra designs being added to Skycoin’s Thingverse group, welcome to the SRP clan!
Fray continued doing what he does best, explaining the complex in a simple and easy to follow manner with his videos.
Wunderbaer joined the ranks this month, helping to expand Skywire’s reach into Germany with two great articles. He also translated one of them from German to English.
iaufmc produced 3 fantastic articles showcasing how to use the Skycoin Explorer API, in what was his first contributing month.
Our resident Ookie of the Big variety continues to build up a number of different packages and tutorials on Asciinema.org with “Skycoin CX with Fiber Blockchain Example” showing us a blockchain counter (which updates and shows the new state, adding a number each time the command is run). He also created a CX Docker Container and walkthrough to help all us noobs out there.
All this writing has me feeling hungry…

Pavla Zakova showed that she’s been brushing up on her CX skills, Marco Casino and Fray continued their impressive runs with 6 and 7 articles respectively.
Finally, Katy Thompson published her first read, titled, “Skycoin set to disrupt the software-as-a-service platform market.” FRAHANE BIO and Blévenec Martinien each added one article to their French portfolio, also teaming up to translate “Rencontrez Skycoin, la vraie Silicon Valley.” Mr. Laington snuck in on the 31st with “Skywire Antenna,” and Lastly, Ronny “Updated the Ronny’s Cheap Man’s Miner” article.
May Results:
This month was a massive month for Skycoin Rewards with a sublime $3,000 USD worth of prizes to give away to the dedicated Skyfleet members above.
The JACKPOT WAS WON!!!! Congratulations Fray you must be feeling ecstatic!
That left $1,500 more to distribute among all the other prizes, $100 to the Spot Prize pool, and $700 to Dolphin and Shark prize pools respectively. There was a total of 75 spins this month, 50 in ‘normal play’ and another 25 to celebrate the Jackpot being won (1 additional spin for each of the 25 participants this month).
