SkyLaunch Update: We’re Still Here!
The SkyLaunch project is still very much alive and kicking, we’re just waiting, patiently, for the perfect time to start the engines!
Hello SkyLaunch community, it’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? It’s high time we brought you an update in relation to the current situation here at SkyLaunch HQ.
We are still here, and we are still very much preparing ourselves for launch! However, we are waiting patiently, and I’m sure you can all understand why. The SkyLaunch team is continuously monitoring the market conditions ahead of our planned launch, and given the current climate and a few recent unfortunate events, we are expecting to have to continue to do so for a little longer.
We had, of course, hoped to have already conducted a successful $SKYFI token launch and released our beautiful SkyLaunch dApp, with an amazing selection of investment opportunities presented to our community that I know you are all eagerly anticipating. However, the current, somewhat volatile market has resulted in the ‘cooling off’ period we are currently experiencing in terms of IDOs, with large numbers of projects opting to delay their project launches, waiting for more favourable market conditions.
What is great to see, and we can vouch for this given the number of projects we regularly speak to through our network, is teams using this time incredibly wisely, developing their offerings further, improving infrastructure, and positioning themselves as beset they can to be ready for optimum launch conditions. As you can imagine, these projects include a selection we had positioned nicely in our pipeline preparing for their IDO on SkyLaunch!
It’s a tricky situation for everyone, but given the circumstances, it does make complete sense for founders of projects to hold back on setting their projects free at this present time. We continue to liaise with and work with a vast network of projects and closely analyse market sentiment to allow us to establish the optimum time for them and us to enter in to the space.
The primary objective of SkyLaunch is and always has been to bring our community an endless pipeline of high-quality, exciting projects from every area of the web3 space, and as much as we would love to launch ourselves- and our dApp is pretty much ready to go, by the way! — and launch a stream of great investment opportunities, we are actually glad to see projects taking the same road, playing things sensibly and waiting for better conditions rather than taking any unnecessary risks.
It would be a little unprofessional and risky business to simply rely on rumours, news articles or general market commentary to put our plans in place. Instead, we will continue on our current plan, liaising with other launchpads, exchanges, market makers and key projects in the space to enable us to pinpoint the appropriate time to pull the trigger.
A very important point to mention is the work going on within our sister project, Liberty Gaming. The reason I bring this up is, while Liberty Gaming may be a separate project, their current focus on connecting with and assisting promising, early stage GameFi projects will provide the SkyLaunch project and its council with an even greater stream of projects to assess thanks to the additional reach provided by the Liberty Gaming network.
While we have been going through the conditions of the last few months, we have not merely been resting on our laurels. We have streamlined our business, our processes and our infrastructure to enable us to ride through this time, and we are all excited about bringing our community exactly what made them take note of SkyLaunch in the first place — and when that is coming, you will be the first to know!
