The Power of SKYFI

As our IDO approaches, let’s take a closer look at exactly what our token, $SKYFI, means for our community and investors

The fact the SkyLaunch IDO is just around the corner means there will very shortly be the first group of public holders of our native token, $SKYFI. While we have touched on its benefits previously, now is a great time to take a detailed look at exactly what holding $SKYFI can mean for you.

Governance is of course a great feature, but it’s nothing new. Giving the community power over decision making creates a fairer space for all investors, giving everyone a chance to be heard. Our token will of course offer governance, but it offers so much more than that. The $SKYFI token enables four primary functions, so let’s take a look at each.

DAO Governance

As mentioned above, and the obvious place to start, is the token’s governance powers. Holders will have power in this regard from two standpoints.

Firstly, standard governance power in terms of voting on SkyLaunch decisions. This could be based on SkyLaunch itself from multiple perspectives, including all of our key features and how they are developed and utilised, or potentially even the projects we take on.

Secondly, the SkyLaunch ecosystem. As you know by now we are not just a launchpad, we are a project lifetime partner, offering support, tools and services from beginning to end. In order to achieve this, we have begun, and will continue to bring the best of what the DeFi space has to offer into the SkyLaunch network, to give the projects we take on the best chance of success. Take our recent partnership with Lossless as a great example.

As a SKYFI holder and investor, you will be granted a certain level of voting rights on who we bring to the table. Our community and investors are at the core of our mission, so we want you to be heard.

Rewards

A token holder should always have the opportunity to earn rewards for their commitment, and the SKYFI token is no different. Holders will have access to three passive-income opportunities, and they are all pretty straightforward!

SKYFI Staking

This one doesn’t really need too much explaining; stake $SKYFI, earn $SKYFI! There will be more than just single-asset staking options, and we’ll reveal more about these in due course.

Liquidity Provision

Again, pretty standard here, liquidity pools are nothing new. $SKYFI holders showing their commitment and loyalty by locking up their tokens and providing liquidity will of course be rewarded. Reward tokens will vary depending on the pool provided for.

SKYFI Staking for IDO Project Tokens

This one is a little bit different, and while it won’t be available immediately, it is coming! This feature will allow you to stake your $SKYFI and mine specific IDO project tokens, creating further promotion and exposure to our IDO projects.

Allocation Mining

We have taken a deep-dive into our allocation score-mining system already, but let’s touch on it again and a couple of other features.

Staking for Allocations

As previously mentioned in our dedicated article, we have a unique allocation scoring system in place, whereby a number of factors related to your $SKYFI staking contribute to your allocation score. This score, in turn, determines the size of your IDO allocation.

Staking for Utility NFTs

This is our second method of IDO allocation access, and while it will not be immediately available, it has a huge kicker — guaranteed allocation. There will be staking opportunities offering the reward of NFTs, and the utility of these will be guaranteed allocation access to the IDO of your choice.

Staking for Auto-Pilot Access

Further reward for your SkyLaunch loyalty will be access to one of our most innovative features — Auto-Pilot. Yes, that’s right, SKYFI staking will increase your access to our ground-breaking automated IDO investment feature!

Payments

Finally, the fourth benefit of the $SKYFI token centres around payment capabilities.

Within the SkyLaunch ecosystem there are premium features available, such as Auto-Pilot, OTC swaps and our Collateralised Money-Market. When paying for these features with $SKYFI, you will receive discounts on the paid features and reduced interest rates on money-market use, giving even greater incentives to grow your holdings of $SKYFI.

Finally, a portion of the fees generated will be burned, creating a deflationary factor to the token.
