My Favorite Spot: SNAPSHOTS Winter Challenge
Where I Write
The greatest majority of my writing is done from my favorite comfy chair by the window. My rolling laptop table pulled up close as I lean back into my cozy pillow. I curl my legs up into the seat or, occasionally, I’ll stretch out using the footrest my husband made by re-purposing an old, small table. Always at my side, a tea on the custom-sized triangular side table also made by my husband out of a re-purposed piece.
I try to spend some time in this spot, writing, every day. Though, not all of my writing is done here.
I have been known to furiously tap at my phone when a thought needs to be written right in a moment. And, when we travel, I forgo the comforts of my writing spot and prop my laptop anywhere convenient–hotel room floors, car passenger seats, airport gatehouses.
The important thing is to get my fingers on the keys.
