Soar HQ has been hard at it the past two weeks and we have some very exciting announcements to come from it; including token distribution, exchange listing news, a new partnership and our most exciting: a new and improved registration process.

So what’s been happening the last 2 weeks at Soar HQ?

Tech updates

We have a very big announcement to make here. The Soar tech team have completely refreshed and simplified our user registration process. Before, users would have to install and work their way through MetaMask and the Rinkeby Test-net, which was a timely process even for experienced users. But now, our awesome developers have built a way around this and simplified the sign up process to an email address and a password— it takes less than 1 minute! While still recording everything onto the blockchain.

The new tech build is being officially released today, you can now register and start uploading your drone images here. Our head of tech & development, Chris, has written his own piece which breaks it down for you, along with some other bug fixes and improvements, you can read it here.

Token Distribution

We know you have all been waiting patiently for the SKYM token distribution to begin, and we have good news! We have been working with Tokeneed to ensure the tokens are distributed 6 weeks post ICO, and they have announced the SKYM token distribution will begin this Friday the 25th of January, (so make sure you have completed your KYC!). Please keep in mind that the distribution process is conducted by Tokeneed — not Soar. We do not have the power to distribute tokens from our side, so if you do have any issues or disputes, please contact Tokeneed.

Exchanges

Soar has secured a listing on leading global crypto exchange site CoinBene. The SkyMap (SKYM) token will be listed on CoinBene from the 28th of February 2019. “As CoinBene is a leading cryptocurrency exchange, we are very pleased to be listing on such a great and trusted exchange, in which can be accessed from all around around the globe”, Amir Farhand, Soar founder and CEO.

Partnerships

Soar is currently in the final stages of establishing a partnership with a leading technology-based solution provider for geospatial management of UAVs and drones. We will have official announcement news in the next few days. Stay tuned for more information.
