It’s been a very busy week for our team, mostly dedicated to the in-app Wallet release. The Wallet is now released for the Web version and will come to the iOS and Android apps in a few days. Updates have been sent to the stores; we’re waiting for approval from Apple.
Development updates
In-app wallet and converting SOL to AP
- Withdraw SOL from your Sola wallet to your Ethereum wallet.
- Deposit SOL from your Ethereum wallet to your Sola wallet for in-app use.
- We are gradually starting to add ways to use SOL in the app. SOL to AP conversion is first, more to come.

Product and marketing
Apart from the Wallet, we were working on an updated positioning statement for Sola. We’ve found that people understood better when we described it as a smart hybrid of media and social network governed by AI together with users. This will affect all our external communications.
Also, we’ve started to work on the global feature — Search. You can make suggestions and share your use cases on Sola or our Telegram chat.
To raise awareness, we’ve made a list of conferences and events we are going to attend in the coming months (Berlin, Barcelona, Tallinn — let’s meet!) and opened a Business Development Manager position.
To those who want to trade SOL on OpenLedger, we’ve created a step-by-step instruction.
The new web interface is half finished; development will start soon. There will be a separate post about it.
