The new version of Sola with Search sent to the App Stores and will be released soon.

You can search globally, for users, cards, and channels. You will see all top results segmented into these three groups with an ability to go deeper into each category.

And you can search comment notifications, which comes in handy when you are looking for something you saw before but can’t remember the exact phrase. You will see previews of all related cards where the search query matches the content for usernames, cards or comments, and channel names.

The discovery opportunities will grow with the Topics implementation.

Product and Marketing

Apart from Search, this week we continued work on Topics.

You can get an idea of what Topics are at last week’s report. In two words, you get an opportunity to attribute it to one of the preset basic topics such are Technology, Science, and Crypto. And if the number of conditions are fulfilled, you get the spread bonus in the topic.

Next week, the development starts. First, we will work on the implementation of the new compose screen.

To provide you with a convenient and informative channel, we started working on Sola email digest. Soon you will get the best of Sola personalised, right to your inbox.

Q1 is close and we want to mention, that the work on Public API, which is the first step in our Roadmap, is in full swing. We know many of you have been looking for that for a long time and already tried to build services on the platform, using available resources.

Yet another feature a lot of you were asking for — Blocking users in comments. Understanding the importance of it, we want to protect you from any unwanted discussions. The work on the feature is started, you will get it soon.
