Sorare: MLB — Card Populations, Rewards, and Auction Specifics

Starting Tuesday, July 19th, the Sorare: MLB Marketplace officially opens and we cannot wait for you to scout and collect your favorite players! Below are more details on card populations, rewards, and auctions. Go to sorare.com/mlb and sign up for all updates before our official launch!

Card populations:

The number of teams and players in Major League Baseball is different from football and we are consequently adjusting our card population for Sorare: MLB to account for the differences and to create a fun, equitable game.

Sorare: MLB features the same card scarcities but with different populations: 1 Unique card, 100 Super Rares, 1,000 Rares and 5,000 Limited cards.

As Sorare: MLB is launching roughly halfway through the 2022 regular season, we are targeting to release up to 50% of the total card population in Season 1.

Rewards allocation:

Similar to football, a meaningful percentage of our card population is reserved for game rewards. As you play each Game Week, you have the opportunity to win cards and strengthen your team. And also like football, our target for Season 1 is to reserve up to 40% of our released cards as player rewards.

We are excited to also create lots of surprise and delight moments in our rewards experiences. For example, we will introduce new competitions where managers can win cards from higher scarcities. Auctions:

New Card Auctions on Sorare: MLB work similarly to Sorare: Football auctions meaning they start at a floor price, have an expiration date and time, and are awarded to the highest bidder. Starting July 19th, you will be able to scout and buy Limited, Rare, and Super Rare. The first Unique auction opens the next day: Wednesday, July 20th.

There will be a higher volume of lower scarcity cards sold but you can expect to see each scarcity live on the marketplace every day. Auctions will end every couple of seconds to ensure regular supply and constant action.

We are consistently monitoring the New Card Auctions Marketplace to make collecting and playing Sorare: MLB as exciting as possible.

Starting on Tuesday, July 19th:

• At least 1 card of each player for Limited and Rare scarcities will be available

• 2022 MLB All-Star players will be front and center for Super Rares so be on the lookout for those in advance of the action on Tuesday night. The first-ever Sorare: MLB Unique card will be an All-Star player!
