There are now 14 days, two weeks, until the midterm election. Your vote could help determine the direction of the country.

Retirement is for wussies

I’m past retirement age now, but I’m still working. I’m also collecting Social Security, but I hate taking money back that I had previously given to my government so I’m all behind the Republican’s plan to get rid of it.

Look at Pelosi, Grassley, Sanders, et al. They appear to be working until they die. And they’re all millionaires. I’m nowhere close. If I’m going to have any chance of catching them (probability is zero, by the way), I’m going to have to work to 100.

Adapt or die … well, die anyway

I enjoy working. Who doesn’t? If you love what you do it’s not work, right? How many times have you heard that? And if it’s not work, you can’t complain about the pay, can you? Because you love what you’re doing. So much so that the corporate brass will not pay you much to do what you love.
