Morning Dew

Small beads of water sparkle in the grass
Feet planted firmly on the ground
A tree leans in the wind
The resistance makes it stronger
I breathe deeply and accept a gift from the sun
With each exhale I feel calmer
I am still
I am at peace
There is no storm today
Here in the present moment.
