Calendar marketing’s a relatively new idea so we’re here to illustrate what it can do for you. Simply put, Stanza’s products allow you to effectively build, engage, and monetize an audience.

As soon as you begin building subscribers, you must simultaneously engage them in order to maintain that captive audience. Simple ways to engage your audience:

1. Set up custom notifications

The most consistent way to engage your audience is through custom calendar notifications. This functionality is available to all Stanza customers with dashboard access. Notifications with plain copy are already being sent to your subscribers for every event — so why not layer your voice/tone/brand into them? Imagine tweeting or posting on Instagram with standardized copy every time…your audience would very quickly disengage. Set the bar high and you’ll be met with high engagement.

When should I set up custom notifications?

Many customers choose to set up custom notifications for marquee events only (first game, match of the season, rivalry matchups, holiday games, etc.). While this approach is effective, we encourage you to set these up for every event to maximize your digital footprint. It takes less than 2 minutes per event.

Can I customize notification send times?

Yes and we encourage it! Customizing your notification send times is another tool to help you maximize your audience engagement.

Example: if you’d like to remind users to sign up for a raffle or buy tickets 24 hrs ahead of an event, no problem. You can also time notifications for 10 mins before your event starts if you’re looking to drive your users to streaming links.

2. Drive traffic wherever you choose!

Once your subscribers are receiving custom notifications aligned with your brand voice, you have a unique opportunity to drive them to your ticketing page, website, social accounts, or wherever you choose.

Make the most of your event invite space

To save you time, we can automatically include the links of your choice in every event invite to eliminate manually add them. This way, even if you don’t send a custom notification, you can expect traffic spikes around every event.

How can I track engagement?

We provide in-depth data reports that track and visualize your in-calendar engagement and allow for data-driven optimization. These reports can be provided for you regularly.

3. Leverage sponsorships

Tapping into an extremely engaged audience with calendar is good for both you and your sponsors. Brands are always interested in tapping into highly-concentrated audiences. Dedicated fans who plan their lives around their favorite team’s schedule are no exception.

Brands have the opportunity to be the exclusive sponsor of the ‘Calendar has been synced’ event tile space for every new subscriber — or own a customizable line item within every calendar invite.
