We are now less than 60 days away from our big opening and naturally we are very happy to announce a new handful of partners.

First off, the current French President François Hollande announced the launch of his non-profit for innovation “La France s’engage”, at STATION F!

President François Hollande has come to see us before, in fact, he even kicked off our construction in October 2014. But this was much more than just a courtesy visit. He announced yesterday that he will be setting-up shop at Station F for his foundation La France s’engage once he leaves office.

This foundation — that has been active since 2014 and has already supported 77 different non-profits — will be supporting various social innovation projects dedicated to topics like education, solidarity, culture and the environment. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome him and his foundation to our campus — and also to have even more social entrepreneurship on campus!

Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play joins forces with international bank BNP Paribas to launch a Fintech and Insurtech accelerator program at STATION F.

Let’s face it — there is not a shortage of interest in the fintech space. We met with TONS of actors that wanted to launch fintech programs at STATION F. But we just loved the team that was formed by Silicon Valley’s Plug & Play and BNP Paribas.

Plug and Play, for anyone who doesn’t know, is the global innovation platform present in 22 countries working with some 6,000 startups. In Silicon Valley, founder Saeed Amidi has helped companied like Dropbox, Google, Paypal, Lending Club and more. The team they form with BNP Paribas, an international bank that’s present in 74 countries worldwide, makes us certain that their Fintech and Insurtech accelerator at Station F will be nothing short of incredible. If you’re a fintech or insurtech startup, there is no doubt that this is where you want to be.

A top-level MedTech accelerator inside STATION F

For those of you who may not know, STATION F’s location in the 13th arrondissement is very close to a hospital. Naturally, we had a lot of interest from different actors in the biotech and medtech space to collaborate but we really wanted to also have a dedicated Medtech program on campus as well.

ICM, which is the Brain and Spinal Cord institute, will welcome innovative startups focusing on e-medicine and medtech. They’ve already worked with some very solid startups and we’re expecting to see a lot of very deep tech in this space.

China’s Serrinnov kicks off a program for Franco-Chinese startups

Following its locations in Shanghai and Suzhou, China-based Serrinnov has decided to launch a new 1-year program in Paris, at STATION F! Serrinnov is a leading actor enabling French-Chinese startups to grow. In addition to mentoring, experts, and events, Serrinnov will organize business trips and competitions with grants amounting to €600,000.

Guys, this is only the beginning.

To date, we have announced 13 different startup programs that will take place on campus — including our own Founders Program. And we’ve also revealed a few VCs, our makerspace, Amazon’s mentor office — and most recently, the Fellowship. But if you think this is everything, well, then we have news for you. There will be more announcements in the weeks to come — be sure to stay tuned!

Startups, trying to get a desk at Station F?

The Founders Program is currently full. Applications are on-going, meaning you can apply at any time, but desks will only be allocated as they become available. If you are looking for a hot-desk ASAP, you can apply for the Fellowship!
