STATION F: now featuring 17 startup programs on-site with more to come
We are only a few weeks away from opening and we still have tons of new partners to announce. Not too long ago, we announced our fintech, medtech and Chinese-exchange programs on campus. But now we have 4 more programs to unveil that will bring us to 17 different programs total (with more to come!). And to top it all off, we’re also announcing our new coworking-coffee shop (open to the public!), too.
Thales launches cybersecurity program for 20 different startups
Who better to run the cybersecurity program than Thales? The company specializing in Aerospace, Space, Defence, Security & Transportation will host a program at Station F for 20 different companies. They’re no newcomer to the digital space either; the company has invested over €1 billion in digital projects over the past 3 years.
Business School EDHEC expands EDHEC Young Entrepreneur (EYE) program expands to Station F
Already based in Lille and Nice, business school EDHEC will launch a new branch of the EDHEC Young Entrepreneur (EYE) program at Station F. EYE will now have 40 desks at Station F for EDHEC alumni to launch and grow their startups.
Schoolab to host a program for 40 student-entrepreneurs
Many think that there is no better time to launch a startup than when you are a student — and in France there is even specific status for student-entrepreneurs! Every year, Schoolab works with 1,000 student-entrepreneurs from various backgrounds and disciplines. Now, the innovation studio, in partnership with the Ile de France region, will welcome 40 student-entrepreneurs and their projects to their new program at Station F.
Naver, South-Korea #1 Search company is launching an augmented content program
Today, Naver counts 38 million monthly users (in a country of 43 million internet users) — this amazing company just announced they will launch a startup-program on campus. Their focus? Augmented content. So for all future unicorns reinventing content, come along!
Anticafé will launch a coworking-coffee shop open to the public.
And now, the most important topic for our entrepreneurs (following wifi): coffee! We know, coffee is *super* important to entrepreneurs and we take our coffee very seriously. We’re pleased to announce that Anticafé will be launching a coworking-café at Station F — open to the public. You don’t need to reserve a spot, just stop by! Anticafé offers delicious coffee and food, cool events, and a great atmosphereprogr for work or meetings all paid by the hour (which means you can drink as much coffee as you want while you’re there!).
Ashoka, NUMA and ICM reveal more details about their programs at STATION F
- Ashoka, a global organization that supports leading social entrepreneurs, is bringing good karma to STATION F! They recently announced the launch of the “Ashoka village” at Station F, which will feature 72 desks for social innovators as they scale-up. We’ll be able to find the likes of organizations like Mozaïk RH, Ticket for Change, Simplon.co, Môm’artre and C.R.E.S.U.S.
- The Spinal and Cord Institute (ICM) is already doing a lot in terms of innovation. France’s #1 institute for brain diseases research has launched an incubator in 2012 called iPEPS and has already accelerated 20 companies. At STATION F, they will have more than 100+ desks for entrepreneurs revolutionizing the health field.
- NUMA, one of France’s top accelerators (based all around the world including Paris, Moscow, Bengalore…) has finally revealed the content of their program on campus, called the “Scale hub”. They will welcome international startups looking to address the French market and provide them with incorporation services, legal help, expertise and network.
