Wallflowers: pre-review photo preview

July 24 marked my first full-band Wallflowers show since 2005. They’re fully reloaded and ready to rock again, with a pumped-up, sometimes Clash-ified sound (not surprising, given that Mick Jones appears on their to-be-released new album, called Glad All Over.)

Spring is an exciting time. Summer shows are announced, the days are longer, snow no longer looms as a travel threat, and it’s easier to slip slightly into summer-vacation mode, even when there’s no actual summer vacation. In other words, CONCERTS YAY.

Today is the 10-year anniversary of my first-ever concert. I was a late bloomer due to strict parenting, not a lack of interest!
