With winter deepening, The harsh cold in the cryptocurrency market has forced many Blockchain projects to close. Not only at home but also at overseas projects are hearing more bad news than good news. Now, we have to face the cold, hunger of reality out of the virtual world. We have reached the point where we need to show something as a business, freeing the bubble. Business activities in the real world have led to partnerships with a number of successful traditional players. Here we are going to focus on the Business activities of Development.
The talk of The Blockchain project these days will be “Survival.” Unlike the early market, where investments were made by resorting to difficult terms and celebrities that were not defined in the dictionary, market participants now have a heightened awareness of the overall Blockchain. Projects that were initially pushed forward are now at a point where tangible results should be made, but they are not, so no additional funding is being injected. This is a common phenomenon in business, and for our team, which has been starting a business, We have been worried about it since The Beginning.
So from the beginning of The Project, We have led the project by classifying what is possible and what is not. The areas that can be covered by our lines are thoroughly internalized and the areas that cannot be solved through cooperation.
As a project, developers had a strong desire to make a Blockchain mainnet and set it up as they wanted. However, with the continuous evolution of The Block chain, the scope of knowledge has gone beyond the team level as well as the Technological track, as well as The Economic concept Token Economy and the political concept Governance. As we took time to redefine the direction of the Project, our character as a DApp Became clearer. In particular, I learned about Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) while researching what to do with the mainnet. The importance of infrastructure service tools, which simplify tasks and enhance reliability as developers, is at the heart of Business in terms of cost reduction. As we wanted to simplify and develop the project with Etherium DApp, we were concerned about the transaction costs due to the frequent frequency of creative contribution and the producer’s contribution to support. As a result, I learned good news in Korea when I was comparing PoA and Room with side-chain. That’s Luniverse!
In the UDC 2018 meeting, which took place late last summer on Jeju Island, Luniverse, a side chain of Etherium, its own main network and emphasis on ease of development, was taken into account as the main infrastructure for Blockchain.
In particular, seeing the ecosystem of Upbit, which encompasses all the services needed for Blockchain projects, such as aircraft carrier flyers, I became convinced that the Luniverse mainnet would be maintained in a stable manner. Upbit blockchain ecosystem covers exchanges, mainnet, wallets, consulting, security checks and recreational surveillance. Above all, as a development team, a storage chain that studied with the book “The Core of Ethereum” authored by Ramda256, it was able to have familiarity and convenience with the Luniverse platform. It is efficient for content-compensated services such as storichain to be designed by system separation of values for trading purposes and utilities within DApp. However, careful consideration should be given to the extent to which the transaction value and the usability value within the DApp should be converted. (The most anticipated project in the Ethereum camp is thought to be a plasma project.)
The use of Luniverse has given our Team time to Focus more on the Business logic of DApp, Storichain. For our team, which is mainly focused on central server-style applications and Front-End Development, it helped increase the portion of time on the application side that we originally wanted. The efficient input of resources as a startup is an inevitable fate, and Luniverse’s choice was timely as it is now. If we were to have private keys on our own, how much resources would we have to put in to gain Trust? How difficult was the credibility of value again when you printed creative transactions from your own PoA Node and put their value on the mainnet? I learned a month ago that I was attending Blooming Day, the official opening event, as Luniverse was upgraded to 2.0. Previously, it had been working on Ethereum and EOS test net. We have about three weeks left until Blooming Day, so we have assigned a team member dedicated to Luniverse interface as we are running out of time. In time for the demonstration, the parts of the storichain that will work with Luniverse should be reduced as much as possible. The most grateful part for Luniverse response team was the 24-hour response through the messenger program Slack, in time for the demonstration. Most of problems in interworking are simple syntax errors, but they are always invisible to the developer’s own eyes, so a third-party perspective is needed, and the task force has faithfully followed third-party eyes.
Accidents always come unannounced. The MVP version, a Storichain, was also preparing to officially open in time for Blooming Day event. However, some functions that were linked to the outside suddenly did not work on the morning of the event. The presentation had no problem as the video prepared the demonstration, but the announcement of the MVP’s official website had to be delayed. While the Blooming Day event was underway, we confirmed that the problem was caused by the security rules of KT Cloud, which is currently in operation, but the official goal of MVP opening on the landing page was impossible to achieve because it was difficult to solve on the same Day.(The following day, it was published on the website.)
The conclusion is that Luniverse is a service that is well equipped with technological, linguistic and environmental configurations that increase the survivability of Blockchain Project. Above all, The horse can scrape the itchy part by eccentricity. So the choice of Luniverse certainly improved the business chain’s chances of survival. We look forward to friendly development of Luniverse developers, and Storichain will continue to grow User-Friendly.
