About The Author Intisar Seraaj
Intisar Seraaj is a trained journalist and multimedia storyteller. She got her start as a journalist in 2010 and 2011 when she started writing for the student-run newspapers at Hampton University and Georgia State University. However, long before then, she enjoyed writing. She wrote short stories and poetry throughout her childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood.
During her career, she’s worked with various businesses, including major news organizations, magazines, newspapers, human services organizations, and other entities. Seraaj has produced audio stories, videos for social media, broadcast news stories, documentaries, interviews, radio ads, commercials and more. She’s designed flyers, newsletters, surveys, business cards and more. Not only is she a savvy writer, graphic designer, and audiovisual producer, she is also a skilled copy editor, natural photographer, and audiovisual editor.
