Another week closer to The International 10, and another update to enhance your league viewing experience! This week we’ve continued to upgrade the Live Match(es) pages with several small updates, and a couple larger ones that are highlighted below.

The first of our more significant updates was released on Live Match pages for leagues earlier this week. For each league match, we now show historical rivalry data between the two competing teams from the last year. Here you can see their record against one another, the last 3 series they played against each other [with links], each of their win rates in the league so far, and whether or not any roster changes have occurred since their last match!

This data can help tremendously to gain insight on how these two teams match up, and when paired with the post-draft match outcome predictions we already provide, offer key data points that can help users anticipate match and series results.

We’ve got a lot more coming to compliment this update, so stay tuned!

Next up this week we’ve added a suite of filters to give you super powers for finding any Live Match that you want! Live Matches have been sorted by their popularity (e.g. viewer count) by default from the beginning, and starting today you now have the option to sort them by game time (short to long) or average total MMR!

To make it easy for you to find only the matches you care about, we’ve added four new filters. For the first time anywhere, you can now filter all current Live Matches by hero, [pro] players, teams, and leagues! Since all Live Matches update in real time on STRATZ, you can use these filters not only to find specific matches you’re interested in, but also to follow multiple matches at once! For example, you can leave this page open to watch all TI matches as they happen, or all matches from your favorite player, with new matches appearing as they come in! Or if you’re studying a specific hero, just keep a hero filter active and you’ll be able to watch all current and new live matches that include that hero.

There’s still much more to come relating to Live Matches and how they connect with other parts of STRATZ, both new and existing. ✨

As we’ve reported, we’ve also been continuing to make adjustments to a private matches review application, working directly with a top TI10 team to help them prepare for the tournament! Some of the features that we’re building out for this application might find their way, in some form, onto the main site post-TI!

Think you’ve got what it takes to join the STRATZ team? We’re looking for a new Frontend React Developer!
