Recap on AMA (#AskMeAnything) with CSO of StreamCoin (STRM)
The StreamCoin Community showed prosperous growth for quite some time now. It was only natural that the eager community was offered a deeper connection with its leadership. On December 28, 2023, CSO of StreamCoin Mr. G.W. Lee linked with its amazing audience from Korea and conducted a virtual session of the much anticipated AMA (Ask Me Anything) event over Zoom.
Over the session, Mr. Lee enthusiastically showcased the major and recent updates from StreamCoin. While meticulously navigating through each and every question posed by the members, Mr. Lee ensured that the platform’s capabilities and potential was explained with clarity.
These were the major updates that were released:
- STRMNFT Rebranded to AngryMonky
The STRMNFT project had undergone a major change and was renamed to AngryMonky. The platform also sported an updated user interface. Some of the game changing updates within the rebrand included adding features such as listing NFT collections, as on OpenSea.
Another feature we announced on December 25, 2023 was to support token listing. Mr. Lee stated, “We aim to support all creators to create tokens for their NFT Collections for free in order to gain more traction for their NFTs.”
2. Expanding MeiTalk
Acknowledging the active landscape of adult content in live broadcasting, MeiTalk intended to pivot to this domain. However, due to operational challenges in the UAE where the STRM Foundation is currently located, it seems likely that the corporation will be transferred to Japan for a smooth platform operation.
Once we move to Japan, we will be partnering with companies in the AV industry potentially allowing AV actors to broadcast on MeiTalk to offer a seamless service. Mr. Lee plans to travel to Japan on a business trip for the same. If all goes well, MeiTalk is expected to open in late January to mid-February 2024.
3. Support Frequent Flyer Miles with Blockchain
The STRM Foundation is under the process of developing a blockchain technology that will enable the exchange and cashing in of airline miles. Upon finalization, Michael Ein Chaybeh (CEO-StreamCoin) will be revealing the plans to the community members. As we are still under the development phase, we haven’t yet partnered with any airlines, but target to get there eventually. Our vision is to create an ecosystem where all airlines can send and receive miles with Stream blockchain technology. We will strive to tokenize and stabilize all SkyMiles from airlines across the world for our token which is StreamCoin, and challenge ourselves to create a new airline mileage culture.
4. Burn Event of StreamCoin
On December 29, 2023, an additional 332,802,057 STRM will be burned, bringing the total number of coins burned to 1 billion. Mr. Lee highlighted the importance of community support by reminding the members that the current top 10 coins, also known as majors, were able to maintain their positions because the community did not give up when the price dropped.
As such, he urged the members to continue supporting StreamCoin to facilitate its growth into a more valuable coin. Mr. Lee said, “StreamCoin has nowhere to go but up and is in the process of changing hands” as he revealed that TNC is investing and supporting StreamCoin while ensuring that it will be successful.
