At the start of season two in Call of Duty: Warzone, Raven Software buffed the AUG tactical rifle from Cold War to give it better bullet velocity and bring it up to par with the M-16. In addition, they also fixed the Agency Suppressor for Warzone to fix what it actually does — including adding even more bullet velocity.
These recent changes make the AUG a beast at range. I’ve found that with these attachments, I am able to win some seriously long-range encounters with minimal shot-leading thanks to the extra bullet velocity that comes from several attachments.
With its heavy recoil but high damage, controlling the AUG makes it a compelling and rewarding weapon choice for medium to long-range flights. Pair it with an AR like the FFAR or SMG like the MAC-10, LC-10, or AK-74U, and you’re cooking with gas.
