First time SuperPhone® user? No problem. While you can collect contacts using your widget or by simply directing people to text your number, in this article I will walk you through how to use your SuperPhone® form to collect contacts in 3 easy steps.

My SuperPhone® Form

Beat the business card exchange

Exchanging contact details has always been a challenge, especially when we rarely take the time to transcribe business cards into our phones. Using a form that’s connected to your phone contacts is a powerful way to allow people to save themselves since they have their details (email, phone, city, etc.) memorized and can add much faster than we can. One of the greatest features of SuperPhone® is this exact form.

Step 1: Customize your SuperPhone® Form URL

Make sure you’re logged into your account, then follow this link to get to your form settings. You can customize this form to ask for optional details like birthday, instagram, job title, etc. Your public SuperPhone® URL is editable — this is the url that will direct people to add themselves to your phonebook. I keep mine simple & short — click to see in real time: b.superphone.io

Step 2: Set up your Form Submission Autoresponse

When someone fills out your form, you can automatically text them a personal note to confirm they’ve been added. To do this, click here to navigate to the Form Submission Autoresponse. Set the text as desired and then make sure the auto-response is enabled (see example). Again, mine is simple as shown below:

Hey! It’s Bianca Surjawan. Please save this number (it’s my direct cell)! Speak soon.

Step 3: Direct People to Your SuperPhone® Form

Now it’s time to collect contacts. You can start directing people to your form to fill out their information and be added to your phonebook. Great ways to do this include sending a blast to your current email list or posting on socials via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

Ex. “Hey guys! I have a new # and I’m rebuilding my phonebook. Can you fill out your info at: b.superphone.io

You’re all set! Now you have a public form that automatically adds contacts to your phone and sends them a welcome text when they successfully submit.

Note: Worried that your contacts won’t actually take the time to fill out your form? Read here to see how you can create a more personalized experience.
