Hello Everyone!

What a busy week for Switcheo! Our team has been attending and speaking at various conferences in Japan. Through the interaction with many blockchain companies, media outlets as well as blockchain experts, we had the opportunity to expand our network and gain additional insights. In addition to that, the long-awaited CryptoLove interview has finally been released!

For more details on the latest happenings for this week, read below.

CryptoLove Interview Video Is Out!

CryptoLove’s interview with our CEO, Ivan Poon, has been officially released. Take a look at Ivan’s vision for Switcheo’s future, as well as his thoughts on what separates our exchange from the other decentralised exchanges out there!

We are always looking for thought leaders and experts in the blockchain community to spread Switcheo’s vision of a multi-chain economy. Switcheo Japan Tour

Switcheo is in Japan! For our first week in Japan, we met with Miki Hayama, Head of NEO Japan and the iMusify team. We also had the opportunity to visit NEO Japan’s office in Tokyo! Here are the list of activities our Switcheo team has been engaged with for this week!

Japan Blockchain Conference Tokyo 2018

With an estimated number of 10,000 participants in attendance, there were many speakers from the tech community at the Japan Blockchain Conference, from companies such as TechCrunch, Cointelegraph and Ethereum South China to name a few.

It was our pleasure to have presented alongside NEO Japan, with Ivan sharing Switcheo’s vision and Jack, sharing with the audience additional features of Switcheo Exchange they can look forward to in V2 along with an open call for potential partners who are keen on collaborating with Switcheo.

Switcheo Token Fee Usage Report

We have published the fee usage report for the previous quarter here. We’ve noted that the amount of users using Switcheo (SWTH) tokens to pay fees is below our expected targets. We have plans to improve the utility rate of our native tokens after the release of V2 of Switcheo Exchange.

Delisting Of Ontology Tokens

Please take note that Switcheo Exchange will be delisting Ontology (ONT) NEP-5 tokens. Trading for this token will stop on 6th July 2018 and will be delisted in October.

Starting from 30th June 2018, users should swap their ONT NEP-5 tokens when the Ontology Mainnet comes online. For this swap, we recommend to use O3 wallet.

Click here to find out more about O3’s support for the token swap.
