Happy New Year from the SynchroLife Team!

From all of the SynchroLife Team, we want to wish all SynchroLife and SynchroCoin supporters a very happy 2019!

As we write this we are already well into January but we wanted to take a moment to look back on some of SynchroLife’s biggest news stories of 2018 and share a bit of what we have to look forward to in 2019 🎉

Looking back on 2018

2018 was a year of a lot of big news and exciting starts for SynchroLife! Here’s some of the highlights of the year…

Launching the World’s First Social Restaurant Review App with Cryptocurrency Rewards 📱

In August 2018 SynchroLife launched a new version of our mobile app the included cryptocurrency (SynchroCoin) rewards for users. Launching the world’s first social restaurant review app with cryptocurrency rewards for users was a major step on our roadmap and one of our biggest milestones (click for full press release). Joining Plug and Play Japan Batch 1 💪

In mid-2018 SynchroLife was chosen to join the Silicon Valley born global venture capital and accelerator Plug and Play Japan’s accelerator program Batch 1 as a part of the Fintech category (click for full press release). SynchroLife was chosen from amongst 674 applicants and it was an honor to join the Batch 1 program.

SynchroLife’s three months in Plug and Play Japan were educational and rewarding as we built new alliances and continued to develop our product. At the Plug and Play Batch 1 Expo at the end of the accelerator program SynchroLife was also honored to win both the Expo award for top domestic fintech company and the audience award for best pitch!

Funding Round with TEC 🤝

In August 2018, SynchroLife announced a business alliance and seed round of 720,000 USD with Ceres Inc (click for full press release). This seed round attracted attention both inside and outside the cryptocurrency community for including a new type of fundraising known as a “TEC” — token equity convertible (see related news from Business Insider here and from Tech Crunch here). This funding has allowed us to continue the development and marketing of SynchroLife.

First Proof-of-Concept Test at 21 Restaurants in Tokyo 🍽

SynchroLife held our first proof-of-concept test campaign at 21 restaurants in Ginza, Tokyo for one month from September to October 2018 (click for full press release). The campaign allowed diners to earn 3% of their total bill cashback in cryptocurrency (SynchroCoin) just by scanning a QR code with the SynchroLife mobile app. This campaign was a major milestone for SynchroLife and we received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both diners and restaurants participating in the campaign!

SynchroCoin (SYC) Listed on LATOKEN 📊

SynchroCoin (SYC) launched on the LATOKEN cryptocurrency exchange in September 2018 (click for article)! This was exciting news for our token holders.

What’s in store for 2019

2018 was already a pretty exciting year for the SynchroLife Project, but 2019 is already looking to be a year of even bigger news and developments!

Next on the road map for 2019 is the full release of participating restaurant program (services and mobile app) which will enable any restaurant to join the SynchroLife platform. This will allow diners to earn SynchroCoin (SYC) cashback every time they dine at a participating restaurant!

Our proof-of-concept campaign with Tokyu Land Corporation last year showed good results and we received positive feedback from the restaurants involved. Many of these restaurants will be participating restaurants starting with us from the official launch of the program this year and we have also received partnership and alliance proposals from other large Japanese companies. We have even received offers from other countries as well and look forward to opening our participating restaurant program to help foodies around the world earn SynchroCoin cashback for their meals soon!

Get ready for an exciting year as SynchroLife continues to grow our user base and launches our token economy with the release of our participating restaurant service.
