As we are entering the new year, let’s see a summary of 2021 in the life of TE-FOOD.
The year started with an implementation in Slovakia with our partner TraceFood, where Tomata, the biggest tomato puree producer of the EU country started using TE-FOOD.
It was followed by another implementation by TraceFood, this time in Spain. Rujamar, the first national poultry company in Spain to totally eliminate cages in its production model, provides detailed traceability information to their customers by using TE-FOOD.
In May, TE-FOOD signed a partnership agreement with Supergroup, the the leading logistics and mobility provider in South Africa.
French poultry producer Galliance, the member of the Terrena group started to use TE-FOOD in May. The implementation is part of the traceability program initiated by Auchan France.
TE-FOOD was also implemented at Maison Roucadil, a 130 years old French farming and agricultural processing company to track and trace prunes from the farm to Auchan supermarkets.
To utilize its blockchain based traceability technology and experience in a different area, TE-FOOD developed TrustOne, a blockchain based Covid-19 test management solution to automatize mass testing. With the help of GE Aviation and Eurofins, the solution gained ground quickly on several markets on five continents.
It’s available for public testing in the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium and Australia.
TrustOne has been used by global sporting events, cruise lines, airlines, private companies and schools.
The TrustOne mobile app has more than 150 000 users, and the system performed over 2.5 million tests worldwide. It achieved high ranking amongst medical apps in several countries.
TE-FOOD continued to lead the blockchain based supply chain traceability space with its robust solution. The Covid-19 pandemic created a new use case with the demand for the traceability of tests, and TE-FOOD was able to utilize its framework to offer an end-to-end solution with TrustOne.
