Wouldn’t finding a universal cure or treatment be great news for humanity? We have had some promising research being conducted in this regard. One of the breakthrough moments came earlier this year when a cancer vaccine showing great promise headed to human trials. The good thing is that researchers have been working on various solutions to this problem and today’s research is one of them.

Cancer tumors are usually considered to have an appetite for fatty acids. Hungry for these fatty acids, cancer tumors devour them at first sight. However, there are “good fatty acids” that are essential for human health, while fighting cancer at the same time. For example, Omega-3 fatty acid, DHA or docosahexaenoic acid is crucial to brain function, vision, and the regulation of inflammatory phenomena.
