Teddy Cash is wiring together the last bits and pieces together for the launch of our Liquity fork for Avalanche. After deployment of the contracts and an initial default frontend we will announce the launch on Discord, Twitter and Medium.

Launch Plan

There is NO IDO, IEO, Token Sale for TEDDY or TSD
TEDDYs need to be earned by staking TSD in the stability pool or staking AVAX/TSD Pangolin LP tokens.
After contracts are deployed the team, does a single test run opening troves and staking.
Launch will be announced on Discord, Twitter and Medium.

Changes to original protocol (and new risks)

Liquity uses the Chainlink oracle as primary price feed, and a Tellor oracle as fallback. Since the Tellor oracle is not (yet) available on Avalanche, Teddy Cash configures instead an empty contract as oracle, which is equivalent to disabling the backup oracle. All other alternative solutions that would allow us to retroactively add Tellor support, once it becomes available, would have made the protocol no longer immutable and introduced even more risks. The removal of the backup oracle has been battle tested in other liquity forks (Fluity, PolyQuity, etc).

Frontend

The Teddy Cash team will deploy a “default” frontend initially. Once enough alternative frontends have been deployed, we will disable the default frontend and replace it with a directory of alternative frontends to boost the decentralization of the UI.

Audits

We have not yet ordered a security audit, as we have not made any changes to the contracts besides changing token names and the genesis allocation. However we plan to have this verified and confirmed by an external auditor. We will post all contract addresses so you can DYOR and verify the diff between original and Teddy Cash before aping in.

Tokenomics

The tokenomics are largely the same as the original and its forks.

50% for Stability Pool rewards (Community)
3% for AVAX/TSD Pangolin LP rewards (Community)
27% for partnerships, marketing and other rewards, e.g. additional LP rewards
20% Team. Locked for 1 year.
