TEX.earth
Texas Environmental information eXchange — because you have a right to live free from harm.
Note from the editor

This publication (TEX.earth, or the Texas Environmental information eXchange) is aimed at highlighting the places where human rights, environmental protection, and public health converge, and to provide practical information about environmental hazards. Where that information is not available, where official statements and polluters’ claims don’t add up, or fail to provide evidence of safety, this publication will offer insights that highlight that shortcoming. We will be selective in our reporting, due to time and staffing constraints, but aim to build a movement that will normalize deep, critical environmental reporting, as an everyday feature of Texas life, and to set an example that can be followed by other states, regions, and localities. Your right to information about anything that might cause you harm can never be abridged; we will share and celebrate the efforts of all who work to honor that standard.
