How do I submit the QR code from my vaccination certificate?
ภาษาไทย: ‘ส่ง QR code จากใบรับรองการฉีดวัคซีนอย่างไร’
If your vaccination certificate contains a QR code, the registration form for Thailand Pass asks that you provide just the QR code separately in addition to the certificate itself. While this is entirely optional, it helps speed up the process of verifying your vaccination certificate.
One of the easiest way to extract the QR code from your certificate is by viewing the certificate in your program of choice, and taking a screenshot. How this can be done depends on your operating system.
- On Windows: Use the built-in utility program called Snipping Tool. You can search for it from the Start Menu.
- On macOS: Use the built-in utility program called Screenshot. You can search for it from Spotlight or Launchpad.
- On iOS: Find the screenshot instructions according to your OS version and phone model here.
- On Android: Try pressing the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. If that does not work, refer to your device manual for specific instructions. Android devices of different brands and models have their own method.
Before taking the screenshot, zoom in on your viewer as much as you can, but make sure the whole QR code is visible. After taking it, crop out other parts of the screen and document, leaving just a small amount of white space around the QR code. Save the picture as JPG (in ‘best’ quality) or PNG (which should be automatic on a phone).
Once you have the right picture, submit it to the registration form along with the certificate.
