Which hotel in Bangkok should I book?
At the start of registration on the Thailand Pass website, you are asked to choose an arrival scheme that suits you best. The options are:
- Test & Go (or ‘Exemption from Quarantine’)
- The Sandbox Programme
- Alternative Quarantine
It is important that you choose a hotel that is officially approved for each scheme. Otherwise, you will be required to book a hotel upon arrival at the border checkpoint. The travel from the airport to your hotel of choice will be on a sealed route, for which there are instructions to follow and an RT-PCR test to take. Leaving the airport outside of sealed routes is not permitted.
There are two groups of hotels: AQ and SHA+.
- Choose from AQ if your scheme is either Test & Go or Alternative Quarantine.
- Choose from SHA+ if your scheme is either Test & Go or The Sandbox Programme.
If you decide to stay in Bangkok on arrival, the approved lists of hotels are as follows.
