The links between athletics and Lean UX principles are compared and contrasted. As a lifetime athlete, I realized the culture in team sports share many commonalities with Lean UX and are discussed in relation to the mentality of athletes and UX researchers alike. It’s refreshing to me that there is an industry that values the lessons and customs athletes have to endure and is built around a team culture. Athletic Researching is validation that the lessons learned from athletics are applicable in an in-demand field and have forever changed the way research is approached, delivered, and shared.
