I’m laying down more hard truths that many pet owners don’t seem to grasp. Nowadays we know more about animals, particularly animals we keep as pets, so things pet owners did fifty years ago or more are no longer acceptable. Proper care of your pet is an absolute must!
Here are some lesser-known pet facts that people need to learn.
Fish need bigger tanks
I am so tired of seeing Betta fish being sold in and kept in tiny bowls. They need large tanks even if you only have one fish!
Do not keep any type of fish in tiny fishbowls. Keep the “fishbowl” for succulents or something else. Fish need room to swim and, yes, things to entertain them even if it’s just something they can swim under to hide.
Fish are not as dumb as people think. They still need proper space and stimuli. They are the very basic of pets you can own but don’t slack off on their care just because they’re relatively easy to keep.
