A foreword is a piece of writing that serves to introduce readers to a publication or its author, and is usually penned by someone other than the author of the book. As a China-based consultancy working with a range of organizations in global health and development, we see ourselves as both a privileged partner to and observer of China’s development story as it moves forward. We are proud to bear witness to the multitude of authors behind this story’s evolving chapters, and hope this blog will serve as a bridge of sorts — between China and the world, the private and the public sector, or simply, for the curious, fellow optimist.
