What a Man Will Do for his Son
Think: Bronny James and Hunter Biden
Bronny James is now a full-time ‘Laker.’ He gets to play with his mega-talented (and powerful) ‘dad.’ 50–50, how great, how awful. Same story: Hunter Biden. Both under a very public microscope.
We Mean Well
If there is one place where no one thinks clearly, it’s when it comes to a child (and-or, by the same token, a parent) (chalk that up, also, to a sibling).
This ends up translating into a lifetime of magical thinking when it comes to ‘family,’ and, again, this translates, down the road, into all of our relationships for the rest of (the best and the worst of) our lives.
So, for an obvious example, now that everyone is calling for Joe Biden to ‘step down,’ it’s pretty obvious, if he does so, no pardon for Hunter Biden.
We’re All Ensnared by Nature
So, this affects (think: entangles) Jill Biden (everyone in the Biden family) (everyone in the James family) (everyone in all families) as well.
As a child, all of us know exactly what it means when we become entangled with (and ensnared by) the thinking of our parents. There is no way to avoid this. Because they are our first (and last) guardians, passing their ‘thinking’ to us, as ‘essential’ for ‘how to survive.’
And this is totally because Nature controls life (which is nothing more (or less) than the conservation of a circle). Pretty simple. And, eventually, unbelievably, ‘complex.’
Challenges in Relationships Always
Meaning, the conservation of a circle forces humans to be continually ‘challenged’ (50–50) when it comes to relationships of all kinds.
Meaning, in concrete terms, we are all inside the heads of Bronny and Hunter (LeBron and Joe) as we watch their ‘drama’ on a very public stage.
Forcing all of us into 50–50, for and against, hope and despair, and all the rest. Because, really, we’re just seeing a very visible (natural) narrative that resonates somewhere pretty deep inside of our selves.
We Can Understand This Better
Technology has drawn everything into public view. So, this is obviously 50–50 great-terrible. However, we can only take so much: 50 percent of us can handle it 50 percent of the time.
The rest: well, you and I, and everyone else, including Bronny, LeBron, Hunter, and Joe, and everyone in their immediate ‘circles,’ and all of the people who depend on them for cash flow (and that’s a pretty big number) are just observing, demonstrating, and, continually proving:
Conservation of the Circle is the only dynamic in Nature.
Why Forgiveness is Important (On All Levels)
Meaning, if it’s not them, it’s going to be someone else. We’re all role-players for the conservation of a circle.
Why Jesus of Nazareth demonstrated the whole martyr thing in the public eye at that time. And why he promoted the whole idea of ‘forgiveness.’
Makes us wonder, if he were around today, would he choose to do the same thing?
The Universal ‘Death Wish’
Or is it just Bronny and Hunter (LeBron and Joe) demonstrating the death wish that Nature bestows upon (and eventually acts itself out on) all of us. (Jesus of Nazareth and all spiritual leaders in all religions, at all times.)
Why all of the world’s religions strongly advise: detach and disconnect. Translating into: turn the smart phone off. Take a walk in the woods. By yourself. Think it through.
Maybe say a prayer for Bronny. Hunter. LeBron. Joe. For everyone in the world who is facing relationship ‘challenges.’
Getting A Realistic Handle on Magical Thinking
Nature ensures that 50–50 is the constant and the norm, so it can never be all bad (or all good) (for any and-or all of us). Explaining how, and, also, why, we all hang in there, in spite of all the drama all around us. (We intuitively understand: Nature has control.)
