First to die

The battle was about to begin.

Or, rather, the two sides were about to reach each other, and that meant that chaos and havoc were about to unravel.

On one of the fighters, the lone pilot took a deep breath and pushed the throttle to the maximum.

Declaration of War

The candidate needed a common enemy to unite the people, and the colony became it.

Light-years away, the only thing the colonists expected from Earth were the regular shipments without which it would be very hard for them to survive.

Kessler

The armada was positioned all around the planet, preparing to commence the attack. On the flagship’s bridge, the weapons officer uttered a word of confusion:

- What…?

The admiral felt the need to ask:

Time War

The commander-in-chief rehearsed the speech once more. It was mostly a reassessment of what everyone already knew and the decision that had been on the table for a while: resources had ended and the solution lied in the past.

When they made a request to the TTA they knew what they were getting into: an expensive and effective way of solving their problems.

They expected a lot of personnel, lots of weapons, and surely lots of ammunition. They would probably arrive in a few hundred ships.
