Are you a humor writer with a big heart? Look no further! The Comedy Kitchen is serving up humor with a side of charitable donations.

If you have a knack for making people laugh and want to contribute to a good cause, we invite you to submit your humorous stories to us.

How to submit

If you’re interested in submitting a humor piece to The Comedy Kitchen, please email comedykitchensubmissions@gmail.com with a private link to your unpublished Medium draft.

Before you submit

• Ensure you are part of Medium’s Partner Program
• Ensure you are meeting Medium’s quality standards
• Ensure your article has a title, sub-title, and kicker
• Ensure your article is less than 1,000 words.

What we DON’T want

• Anything political
• Fake news
• Excessive criticism or ridicule
• Offensive content
• Walls of text

What we DO want

• Light-hearted sarcasm
• Playful satire
• Humorous fiction
• Comical listicles
• Strong usage of funny images/memes/GIFs
• Short jokes
• Cartoon illustrations
• Funny poems

Stuff we like

• Satirizing pop culture and dumb trends
• Dry humor (think The Office)
• Hilarious mishaps from life experiences
• Funny punchlines, analogies, and witty jokes
• Short and concise writing
