If you’re looking for a coffee alternative, look no further.

Like coffee, matcha is delicious hot or iced. Matcha also offers a naturally occurring boost in energy, minus the jitters.

As a bonus, matcha provides many health benefits too. Make it part of your morning routine– start your day with an intentional forward momentum.

Here’s what you need:

  • Blender (if you don’t have a blender, you can also whisk everything together in a bowl)
  • 16 oz unsweetened non-Dairy milk of your choice (I love making my own almond milk for this)
  • 2 teaspoons of matcha powder
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla (optional)

Next:

Add milk, matcha, and optional ingredients (if adding) to the blender.

If you’re not blending, add ingredients to a bowl and whisk until ingredients are incorporated.

Mix on low for 30 seconds or until combined. Pour into a glass filled with ice. Easy!
