40 days of remote working — Crowdpolicy innovation integrator
We stay Safe & Creative. We are moving forward.
Businesses in the field of technology and digital innovation have the means and know-how to create methodologies and applications for the new reality, and help the Greek economy, society and businesses to adapt to it. They have the means to train and support the use of tools and technology, as well as encourage and inspire as many people as possible.
At Crowdpolicy we implement technology and digital platforms, and we build an open community of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
As an “innovation integrator”, we integrate innovation, in practice, in a meaningful and fruitful way. Our company, Crowdpolicy, is contributing to this effort through the actions of its business units:
- Govtech — Crowdapps for online services and actions in public administration and cities.
- Open innovation for innovation and entrepreneurship, having supported a dynamic innovation ecosystem of at least 500 teams — startups and more than 3,500 developers in the last 5 years.
- Fintech — Open finance and the FintelioX platform for enterprise applications and support services using state-of-the-art technologies around SDK, APIs, Open Data.
- Enterprise software via mobile services, the chatbot platform botakis.com of Crowdpolicy and the service support centers & customer care services.
All this time we have been working remotely. We have been using a series of collaborative tools and business options at Crowdpolicy, so that we can work remotely, without geographical and spatial constraints. In March, we published an article on suggested tools for remote work to help organizations and companies quickly adapt to the new reality. You can read the article at https://medium.com/the-crowdpolicy-collection-en/tools-and-methodologies-for-remote-working-ff931a5a149a.
We have developed new tools, adapted existing agile development, governance, customer support and customer care methodologies that are here to stay. We support important actions of innovation and the implementation of applications for the pandemic at national and European level, we have provided free digital platforms promoting remote transactions for the private and public sector, etc.
We are proud of contributing to the community’s overall effort to address the challenges of the pandemic and adapt to the new reality.
We share experiences on how to deal with the challenges together, and the needs for digital transformation that is now the top priority in all areas of the economy. We share our ideas and methodologies for quick wins and strategic solutions in the areas of our activity.
Digital Government #Govtech — The opportunity for the cities we live in
- We activated for free the service and e-requests center for all public bodies and the local government. Public bodies can receive electronic requests from citizens and businesses, process them and return them to the mailbox of citizens. Thus, physical presence is not required and requests are processed remotely. The service is provided as a web and a mobile application for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) with Google Android & Apple iOS.
- We delivered 2 e-Gov portals for the Municipalities of Chaidari and West Lesvos. The delivery of another 5 e-Gov portals for digital infrastructures of electronic services as well as 5 for e-requests is in progress.
- We continued the implementation of the WiFi4EU networking program for the Municipalities of our country. More than 15 WiFi4EU networks, which have been implemented by Crowdpolicy are already in operation, and during this period the implementation of another 6 has been completed, while more than 10 more networks are in progress.
- Soon, an online matchmaking platform for supply-demand and open data will be available for the publication of needs and the search for employees in the agricultural sector. The platform was developed through online meetings and in collaboration with the Municipality, farmers and collective bodies. It’s exciting to be part of the whole process and contribute to it.
- Executives of small and large Municipalities throughout Greece use technology efficiently — they respond to messages and manage citizens’ requests until midnight through the service support center platform — city agent of Crowdpolicy.
- We enriched the applications hello.crowdapps.net to help the Municipalities deal with the challenges of the pandemic.
- We network and support Municipalities with funding tools from the EU and international organizations.
Along with the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship of our country
- The selection of startups for the 2nd cycle of the Visa Innovation Program supported by Crowdpolicy has been completed. It has to do with the collaborative platform, where fintech startups work together to address market challenges through innovative models that aim to change the way payments and online transactions are made.
There is hope for the Greek ecosystem of innovation & technology.
