Tirana Economic Forum is a high-level meeting of the most influential Albanian and international, political, corporate and intellectual leaders to address pressing challenges currently facing Albania and the world.

Tirana Economic Forum will take place on January 30th, 2020 at the Maritim Hotel Plaza Tirana.

The forum will provide an opportunity to identify and assess key development challenges, learn from policy experiences in other countries, support the adoption of digital transformation and corporate social innovation practices in the private sector and identify a course of policy action towards a more competitive and inclusive economy in Albania and Southeast Europe.

The Tirana Forum will be attended by key speakers from around the world and the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, the Ministers of Energy, Infrastructure & Finance as well as executives of banking groups and other organizations such as the World Bank etc.

Mr. Georgios Karamanolis, Co-founder, CTO/CIO of Crowdpolicy, will be a speaker in the section “The Promise Of Smart Urban Development: Delivering Digital Solutions For Albania’s Cities”. The key topics he will cover include digital transformation and innovation opportunities for the public and private sectors, the impact of disrupting technologies such as financial technologies (fintech), artificial intelligence on governance and banking, leveraging the experience of innovative digital transformation actions and promoting e-Government such as DIAVGIA, and working with Greek entities and organizations in the context of the digital open innovation services and actions of the company Crowdpolicy.

Crowdpolicy has been providing business information system solutions in the fields of govtech — civictech (innovation in public governance — smart cities) and fintech as well as open innovation services since 2012 in Greece and Cyprus in dynamic sectors of the economy.
