As expected, SCOTUS rejected the Texas lawsuit seeking to invalidate the results of Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and my State Wisconsin. The Electoral College meets on December 14th. The next step of the Trump refusal-to-concede campaign will clearly be to put pressure on the Legislatures to install new slates over the weekend and/or to pressure the Electors directly. We truly are at an inflection point that people remotely think this is acceptable.


The logic here is mind-bogglingly cynical: “Rather than claiming evidence of proven fraud, it instead claims that the fraud is actually “undetectable,” because election officials made it so by doing illegal things. And that’s why it wants the results overturned.”
