I am especially looking forward to SQLBits this year, and I would like to share my plans and expectations for this important conference.
Network
SQLBits has always been a gathering place for the most innovative thinkers in the data platform space. I anticipate that this year’s event will push the envelope even further by providing a wide range of sessions that explore the most recent developments and industry best practices in SQL, Fabric, PowerBI, and Azure. I’m excited that there will be a fair with a variety of important industry players because it offers a special chance to network with innovators and thought leaders.
SQLBits’ core values are centered around networking moments. Whether intentional or accidental, these encounters frequently result in enlightening conversations. With the breadth of data platforms growing and the complexity of challenges in our field growing, I expect these moments to be even more fulfilling this year.

My Journey as a Speaker
I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to speak at SQLBits again this year. With an emphasis on the Query Store Hints feature, my session, “Elevating SQL Server Performance with Query Store Hints,” seeks to walk attendees through it on SQL Server 2022.
Query Store Hints play a role in database performance optimization by providing the query optimizer with exact guidelines on which execution plan to choose. In this session, I’ll go over the foundations of SQL Server hints, explore the architecture of Query Store and how it interacts with Query Store Hints, and emphasize the advantages and things to keep in mind when utilizing this feature.
My presentation will include a live demonstration that highlights SQL Server 2022’s implementation of Query Store Hints.
