Discover this week, the four dimensions of the digital heritage education resources through its theoretical framework and five case studies.

As every week, an essay will be posted in the blog and an episode will be available on the podcast.

This week a series dedicated to the four dimensions of digital heritage educational resources will be published.

An introductory article will be titled Four dimensions of digital heritage educational resources. An introduction and includes a general perspective of the theoretical framework and links to the following posts dedicated to the communicative, pedagogical, social, and psychological dimensions.

In the fourteenth episode of the podcast, we will talk about how the four dimensions of the digital heritage educational resources can be useful to evaluate any resource or platform and how to do from five case studies:

  • Acropolis Museum Kids, the educational platform for kids between 6 and 12 years old from the Acropolis Museum in Athens (Greece)
  • Gods in Color. Polychromy in Antiquity, the exhibition Digitorial resource from the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung Frankfurt in Germany.
  • Hermitage Academy, the educational platform for adults from the Hermitage Museum of Saint Petersburg in Russia.
  • Tate Kids, the educational platform for kids between 6 and 13 years old from the Tate museums in the United Kingdom.
  • Beethoven’s escape room, an educational resource created by Elisabetta Nanni, for the #reinventingBeethoven challenge from Europeana Education.
