Dundee Culture will be providing comprehensive coverage of the return of BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend as it returns to Dundee after 17 years.

🔴 LIVE NOW: Friday 26 May

See the latest coverage of Big Weekend on Friday. Featuring the acts playing on this day, the schedule and live updates.

Dundee has the privilege of being the first Scottish city to host the event twice, the second city in the UK to do so — and is the host city for the 20th anniversary of Big Weekend.

From Lewis Capaldi to Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne to The 1975, Camperdown Park is the setting of what will be one of the biggest music events of the year!

Over 80,000 people are expected to gather at the venue over the three days and the countdown has been exciting!

How is Dundee Culture’s coverage going to work?

Dundee Culture will be providing comprehensive coverage of the Big Weekend through the Dundee Culture Big Weekend Hub for the event on Medium.

I will be at the festival in person on the Saturday and Sunday to provide coverage of the event.

The coverage will begin at around 10am each morning, subject to change, and will update people on what’s going on during the festival.

Here is the breakdown of what will be featured on each of the platforms.
