About
The Idea List
A magazine about curiosity.
Note from the editor

The Idea List is a digital magazine dedicated to a new topic each month. This is how it works: We select a theme, make a list of ideas revolving around it, discard most of them, and stick with the good stuff. Here you’ll find the articles, interviews and features we have written and selected over the course of one month — yes, selected, not carefully curated. The magazine is a non-profit project, essentially a labor of love and creative platform to explore topics ranging from the obscure to the newsworthy. It is edited by us, Lars Mensel and Max Tholl, two journalists from Berlin. Our pieces are complemented by the works of fellow writers we have met along the way and asked to contribute. Oh, and we have a permanent intern named Hans, a taxidermied fox, whose ancestors used to roam the Polish woods. He handles external communications.
