I don’t think I know a single person,
Who thinks clowns are funny,
WAIT,
I know like one guy,
But he’s a weirdo,
A real character,
I think he might’ve been a clown himself,
In a former life.

Everyone else,
Young,
Old,
Man,
Woman,
Non-binary,
Shit,
Even the aliens at Area 51,
Probably think clowns are creepy.

How did we get here?
How did clowns become synonymous,
With terror,
Mayhem,
Fear,
Violence,
Death.

Funny-faced folk,
With big noses,
Floppy shoes,
Juggling bowling pins,
Making balloon animals,
Dancing,
And tripping,
To see you smile,
To forget your troubles,
Make people happy,
Make people laugh,
