A Sheriff Who Is a Law Unto Himself
Local elections are fast approaching. We can’t allow ourselves to be caught sleeping while the fascist authoritarians creeps creep in.

In a previous article, I encouraged voters to get to know their local sheriff. More than ever, we are approaching authoritarianism at neck breaking speeds with elected officials who have become radicalized by Right Wing Nazi propaganda and are hellbent on making “The Handmaid’s Tale” a documentary and “1984” a how-to manual.
New but old breed
We now have a breed of sheriffs who have made themselves the law unto themselves. They will be the gold standard for what laws should be enforced and what laws should not be. They have decided that they know better and will conduct themselves based on their own interpretation of the Constitution.
This should scare and worry us. As these maniacs grow in numbers, they will seek to influence local elections and even disrupt the political process if they feel that there is substantial voter fraud with or without evidence of any kind. The last several elections we have had in this country have showed that there is now only a small speck of election fraud because of how hard and costly it is and how easily it is discovered, but that isn’t stopping this clown car posse of meatheads.
Meet Mike Carpinelli
Not only has he participated in Stop The Steal rallies, which are based on the conspiracy theory that Democrats stole the election through paper bamboo ballots bought from China and Dominion voting machines produced in Venezuela, he even went so far as to petition a federal judge to show leniency to a January 6th rioter who came from his district.
In fact, this sheriff is going the extra mile and has decided to take it upon himself to arrest any public-school teacher who merely affirms a child’s gender identity. So, if a trans student wishes to be addressed as she/him or nonbinary, he will have the teacher arrested and the superintendent who allowed it.
Let’s make it harder for teachers
He’s even of the delusional opinion that this will somehow stop the shortage of teachers we are faced with…by arresting them.
This is the type of insanity our teachers are facing. Teachers already have notoriously underpaying jobs, expanded classrooms, guidelines for dealing with a pandemic, and have to coach their classroom through mass shooting drills. Now, they also face arrest for simply validating and actually seeing their students and showing respect.
I love the excuses this mongrel gave for the banner he had behind him.

Bullshit!
Yeah, pay no attention to this Nazi Swastika! It goes back to the ancient Vedics of India and the wheel of time… blah bl-blah blah blahhh.
Yeah, mkay.
These sheriffs are planning on flooding the zone with shit just to see what sticks. These meathead sheriffs aren’t coming up with this themselves as they aren’t smart enough. Their playbook comes from fascist like Steve Bannon and other Right-Wing authoritarians.
Things to be grateful for
One thing I’m grateful for is that they aren’t smart enough to hide their ideologies. They can’t help themselves. They literally confess who and what they are if we only take the time to listen.
I’m not sure if it’s bravado or just shortsightedness.
They’re like a toddler who thinks they are out of sight by covering themselves with a blanket. It’s like… we can literally see them and hear what they are saying.
Maybe they are under the delusion that everyone else sees things as they do.
Either way, stay vigilant and vote these bastards out.
