We’ve just launched our brand new browser extension: GuildWallet — a little applet used to manage cryptocurrency wallets. It’s a tool capable of managing wallets from several different blockchains, and you can read more about why we’ve created it in this previous post.

Add GuildWallet to your Chrome browser!

All set? Then let’s dive right in with a brief overview of how you can get started.

Getting Started

After installing GuildWallet, click the little blue icon in the top right corner of your browser to start setting up your wallet.

First, you will need to create a global password for GuildWallet. This password is intended to safeguard your access to your personal wallets, so make sure it’s a strong password that you won’t forget!

Once that’s done, you can choose to import an existing wallet (TRX only for now), or create a new one.

When creating a new wallet, you’ll be given both your address (used to receive tokens) and your Private Key (used to identify your wallet). It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep your Private Key secret and safe. We cannot help you recover your Private Key (or your master password, for that matter) in case of loss, and if anyone should get a hold of it, they will have full access to your wallet and your tokens.

Once you’ve clicked accept, you’ll find yourself in the main GuildWallet interface. From here, you can see your total balance for the active wallet, manage the various tokens you might have inside the wallet, view your transaction history, and send tokens to wherever you’d like.

If you’d like to manage a different wallet than the one you currently have active, simply click the wallet icon in the top right corner of the GuildWallet interface. From here, you can choose an existing wallet to use, create a new one, or import a wallet you’ve previously created. You can also export or delete wallets from here.

That’s all you need to know in order to start using GuildWallet. We’d like to remind you that this is a BETA release, and that we have several new features planned for future updates, including support for multiple other popular blockchains.
