Australian Affordable Housing Party
These guys are a single issue party who want to make housing more affordable in Australia. Who’d have thunk it?
It’s not an uncontroversial opinion, unless you’re a baby boomer looking to buy their 5th investment property while residing in your harbour-side mansion. And I can’t really find much to criticise their candidates about, apart from the fact that they definitely look like the kind of people who would lecture you about where to find the best craft beer.
But really, they haven’t done anything to mark them as trash, which means I have to label them tolerable I guess.
Policy
Yeah, so it’s all about making housing more affordable. You know, through the classics of getting rid of negative gearing, restricting foreign ownership, yada yada yada the same old normal stuff which will hopefully make shitty houses in Sydney not cost a million dollars.
They also self-identify as “progressive”, and talk about “evidence-based policy” on other issues, which are of course the super descriptive words you want to see when trying to analyse a party and figure out where they stand.

You’re not a baby boomer and/or are trying to enter the housing market
