Just when you thought the far right in Australia was being clogged up by an unnecessary number of political parties, guess what, there’s another. Formerly known as the Australian Liberty Alliance, YVA is a special breed of dog shit though, all of which is summarised incredibly well by this one news article.

When you were launched by anti-Islamic Dutchman Geert Wilders and claim Donald Trump stole your ideas, it’s not looking good. When your candidates say things like “mosques are not a race”, it’s terminal. But when even Rupert Murdoch refuses to place your ads in his paper, you get your own little spot reserved for you in hell.

Oh, and the final nail in the coffin: Fraser Anning, soon-to-be-former Senator, attending your campaign launch on the taxpayer dollar mere weeks after attending a neo-Nazi rally.

Policy

Most of their policy is some bullshit. And this is coming from someone who’s read most of the policy for 52 different political parties, so you can trust me here.

But if for some reason you don’t, you can delve into their “core values”, which is apparently all the policy that they have, which is remarkably vague, Islamophobic, somehow thinks that affirmative action is just like apartheid, is still bitter about same-sex marriage, and has a weird boner for thorium as an energy source (which is a terrible idea for multiple reasons).
