Connect with the Epicenter community on Pepo & at EthCC
We’ve also partnered with the Epicenter podcast for EthCC so that participants can suggest guests and propose questions on Pepo to be featured in Epicenter’s EthCC edition. Plus, EthCC participants are invited to contribute 30-second Pepo videos about learnings from the event, using the hashtag #myethcc30 — and host Sebastien Couture will select his favorites and share them with the Epicenter audience. Epicenter will also post snippets of podcast interviews on Pepo. Sebastien has been tapping into the realness on Pepo for weeks now and knows how to get a great conversation going.
By the Community for the Community
EthCC describes itself as “first and foremost an event by the community, for the community.” So we are delighted Simona Pop, our chief engagement officer, will be hosting a workshop specifically on building communities, drawing on her experience at Pepo and the Bounties Network. Look out for Simona throughout the three days at EthCC, as she will be sharing real-world examples of crypto’s impact and its role in creating new opportunities.
Ben Bollen, our chief blockchain strategist, will also give a tech talk on the Mosaic layer-2 on-chain scaling protocol: Removing state from Ethereum layer 1 to enable rich dApps like Pepo. Rich content dApps require more statefulness than Ethereum1 can provide. The Mosaic protocol introduces (on Ethereum1) a second layer proof-of-stake consensus to asynchronously update injected state tries transitions in parallel to the main chain. Ben will discuss the Mosaic architecture, data availability, validator token incentives and the upcoming testnet generations. Mosaic is currently live in v0 and will transition to v1 validators in the coming months.
Finally, you won’t want to miss Pepo x Ost CEO Jason Goldberg presenting on crypto UX for humans. Jason’s talk will include an exciting on-stage announcement and demo of a well-known crypto company launching its own embedded app token using the same Ost technology that powers Pepo.
