Here we go again.

Happy New Year!

Another year is already passed by. How many times with the new enthusiasm of the year we promise ourselves big changes and big achievements, but eventually our promises fade away in a few days or weeks with our level of self-esteem hitting an all-time low.

We wish to win the lottery and think every problem will fade away magically and then finally, we’ll be happy.

Anyway, if you are reading this blog post in Medium, you are going to find some tips for a better deal with 2022 and, why not, make it a new starting point in your life.

All you have to do is simply follow these 3 rules and stick with them. You’ll become unstoppable.

1. Write Down Your Goals

Write down your goals for the year and keep writing them weekly! In this way, you’ll rewire your brain toward your goals and you’ll be less inclined to be distracted in some way.

Another aspect you might consider is revealing your goals. Speaking up about this to someone you nurture trust and esteem might help you trust your own words and at the same time is a chance to prove your value, not just to yourself. Sometimes you’ll need that external motivation to fuel you up.

2. Pick One Goal at Time

After evaluating your goals and choosing a priority on this list, focus all of your energy on just one of them. Establish the right strategy to achieve this one goal and make it a habit in your daily routine. Simplify the process and enjoy it. There would be days when the lack of motivation is going to prevail, but try to force yourself on those days and you’ll be proud of yourself.

Remember that if you focus all your endeavors on many different goals, you’ll end up achieving none of them.

3. Make the process work for you

Find the right process and make it a daily habit. Discipline yourself with the right rules for you and if necessary, adjust your habit to make it enjoyable, fulfilling, and practicable as much as you can. Just keep in mind that If you can’t enjoy the process, you will probably fail.

Eventually ask yourself: Is this what I want to achieve in my life?

If the answer to this question is not a clear yes, then probably It’s better to move on with something different. In the end, is better, to be honest with yourself and look for new avenues and opportunities.

I’ve only ever failed when I didn’t listen to myself.
